The Journey Through Baptism
Barbara D Shorter was born in Kingston, Jamaica, where she received a God-given vision that would guide her life's purpose. After migrating to the United States, she lived in Texas, Georgia, Florida, and travel throughout the U.S. and parts of Europe as her spiritual journey continued to unfold, raising two sons and being blessed with six grandchildren. Coming from a large family of twelve siblings, along with many cousins, aunts, nieces, and nephews, Barbara's life has been shaped by deep family roots and faith.
A Woman of God with a message, Barbara studied theology, religion, and counseling at Liberty Christian University. She serves faithfully in ministry as a prayer intercessor, worship team member, and usher. Her passion for writing grew from daily encounters with God and a desire to strengthen believers in their walk with Christ. Barbara is the CEO and founder of Baptism Center (www.baptism.center), a ministry dedicated to helping believers honor and celebrate their baptism anniversary. She believes true beauty begins within and radiates outward through a transformed life.
